Bridget Taylor
Early Childhood Education Support
Meet Bridget Taylor
Bridget’s unique, professional background began with 7 years as an elementary art teacher in Lima, OH, Alexandria, VA, and then Worthington, OH where she lives today. While raising 2 young daughters, Bridget began her early childhood journey teaching preschool in Columbus where she discovered her love for teaching 3-5 year olds, developing new programs and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
After 10 years of team teaching, Bridget pursued her license as an Intervention Specialist (P-3). She recently completed her 4th year of leading a self-contained, special needs pre-kindergarten class in the Columbus City School district where she helped students facing challenges with developmental delays, autism, behavioral issues, social/emotional concerns, fine and gross motor skill deficits, as well as cognitive, adaptive, and sensory needs.
After 22 years teaching in both public and private schools, Bridget determined that she can make the most impact in a child’s life by providing private, early childhood educational support. Here, she can continue to leverage her extensive experience while supporting children and families one-on-one during the developmentally critical, early childhood period.
Bridget’s approach
☻
Personalized
Each lesson is tailored to your child’s specific needs, interests and learning style.
✦
Adaptive
Lessons evolve as your child does. No lesson will be the same, and my teaching methods change as your child progresses.
✿
Interactive
I find the best way for children to learn is through play! Sessions contain activities to support cognitive, social, emotional, fine motor and/or adaptive skills.
